Signing in on iPhone and Android
To sign in via the Robinhood app, open the official app downloaded from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android), tap "Sign In", and enter your registered email/username and password. If your app offers biometric sign-in (Face ID / Touch ID / fingerprint), enable it only after you sign in and confirm your device is secure.
App-specific troubleshooting
Common mobile issues include: app version incompatibility, push notification delivery delays, and authenticator app clock skew. Steps:
- Update the app to the latest release from your official store.
 - Force-quit and reopen the app, or restart your device.
 - Check device time & timezone (authenticator codes depend on correct device time).
 - Clear app cache (Android) or reinstall if problems persist.

Biometric sign-in and device access
Biometric sign-in is a convenience feature — if you enable it, ensure your device has a secure lock (PIN, passcode, or strong biometric). If you sell or give away a device, remove access in Robinhood account settings and from the device itself.
When app sign-in is blocked
If the app blocks sign-in for security checks, follow the in-app prompts. For account freezes or verification steps, consult Robinhood’s official help center for the up-to-date resolution path.
Always avoid using third-party app stores or unofficial downloads.
